    • Been seeing evening swarms for a couple weeks now. We are located in Wolfeboro, NH, with about a half acre lawn high on a wooded hill. Based on what I learned from your information regarding feeding swarms, I believe our patch of sunny grass surrounded by hundreds of acres of woodland is a feeding station for these insects. A brief review of species photos leads me to think they are likely to be petite emerald dragonflies. Thanks for the info contained on your site.

    • Oh yes, our mini vacation definitely helped. I’ve decided that wednesdays should always be a vacation day. Who needs em! I’m glad you stumbled accross my blog too:) I took a look at yours, and it’s so lovely. I will be sure to check back! Thanks for the comment.
