Celebrate The Year of the Dragon with P.F.Chang’s

The Chinese New Year has began and P.F. Chang’s is celebrating BIG!

We have a brand new P.F. Chang’s restaurant in town and are excited to try it out! The entire family likes Chinese food and we haven’t found a favorite since moving here. I have heard nothing but good things. Yum!

Since we haven’t been able to eat out yet, we decided to celebrate the New Year inside! You can find P.F. Chang’s frozen entrees in your local grocery store! How great is that?!

We made a night of it and hung Chinese Lanterns from the ceiling to give it a more authentic feel. I even got out the chop sticks which made the night a little silly as the kids were trying to twirl noodles and pick up pieces of chicken with them. I have to admit they did pretty good, better than mom, who was afraid to even try.

In under 12 minutes I stir fried Firecracker Shrimp with Yakisoba Noodles and Grilled Chicken Teriyaki with Lo Mein Noodles. Hubby and I took the spicier shrimp and the kids split the chicken. We were all excited to eat!

To sum it up quick ~ YUM!

Hubby’s quote ‘this tastes like it came straight from the restaurant.” (well that is what it was taste like when we DO go. ha!)

I loved the shrimp. Even my O’Bear wanted a taste though it had some good spice in it. Everything was saucy, flavorful, and everyone wanted more! That is always a good sign.

I have already picked up another bag when I went grocery shopping yesterday.

Fast, easy, and good. You can’t beat a dinner like that!

To help celebrate the Chinese New Year, the P.F. Chang’s Facebook page is having giveaways! And fortunes!

Everyday until February 12th there is 25 daily prizes including gift cards to eat out and coupons for free home meal entrees.

To enter you will open the Red Envelope. In the Chinese culture these envelopes are shared with loved ones to bring them lots of luck.

Good Luck to you and I hope you win something Yummy!

Does your family love Chinese food? Have you visited P.F. Chang’s or prepared it at home?

I received a Red Envelope Celebration Kit in order to write this review. All opinions are definitely my own!
